The Crystal Palace Forward Ismaila Sarr scored twice, as the Eagles faced a detrimental blow to Aston Villa’s chances for a top finish in the Premier League.
Sarr fell to pull the opener and then sink in a secondary second after the break to seal the victory for the hosts.

Morgan Rogers, again surpassing in front of England leader Thomas Tuchel, soon brought the Villa level with a good solo target.
But Jean-Philipe Mateta forged in an eighth championship of 2025 to put the palace in front of Sarr’s critical touch.
And there was time for Eddie Nketiah to get off the bench and hit a quarter.
Problems Term for Villa
Villa is flying to Europe and faces Club Brugge next week in the last 16 of the Champions League.
It is tight in the Premier League for a top five finish that is likely to be enough to return there, but this defeat left the UNAI Emery side in 10th place.
Emery played three back for the first time in the league throughout the season and left both Astral signatures of January Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio on the bench.

Rogers was unlucky to have a first half goal for a very narrow offside, but he scored extremely well after Emi Martinez had a header on the Sarr trail to the opener.
International Argentina then failed to appear for the second half, adding concerns about the villa’s injury.
Mateta’s strong strike put the palace in front before Sarr scored the night’s goal with a finish.
Nketiah could not lose when Tyrick Mitchell put the ball on and the palace celebrated three points that lifted them to the 12th.
