Fresno State Men’s Basketball is entangled in a sports gambling scandal, and ABC 30 Action News I learned two of the three athletes who reportedly bet on games in which they played.
The Bulldogs Mykell Robinson removed from the team while guards suspend Jalen Weaver and Zaon Collins for alleged sports betting.
ABC 30 Action News reports that Robinson and Weaver have placed bets that their team would go under their projected points and rebounds. ABC 30 Action News also reports that Fresno State Men’s Basketball head coach, Vance Walberg, the one who discovered his The alleged gambling of players and informed the university. After a first internal investigation, the NCAA became involved in its own investigation.

These are two of the top scorers of the Bulldogs this season, with Weaver on average 12.5 points per match, while Collins is close to 12.0 points per match and Fresno State leads with 4.7 assists per match.
In the meantime, Robinson has not been in the team since January 11.
Fresno State Athletics also told ABC 30 Actions News that it would no longer comment on the “at the moment” issue.
The Bulldogs have lost 10 consecutive games this season and have a 5-23 record this season, which is a record for most losses in one campaign.
