Charles Barkley is not willing to call San Antonio Spurs Star Victor Wembanyama the “face of the competition” still. The NBA Hall of Famer even believes that titles as they need to be earned.
And according to Barkley it is not yet earned.

Barkley set up the subject during the “Tip -Off” show of TNT on Thursday evening and said he was “irritated” by those who called the young people French basketball player The “face of the competition”.

Wembanyama was essentially not eligible for most prizes before the end of the season because of the 65-game rule of the competition, which is in the second season of policy. He only played in 46 games.
