Migrant brings suspiciously powder to the Florida ice center that has requested evacuation


A Cuban migrant brought a “white powdery substance” to an immigration and customs enforcement facility (ICE) in Florida on Thursday, which led to a guard who fell ill and caused an evacuation of the building.

The early morning care took place on Ice’s Miami Field Office in Miramar at 7.15 am then the migrant was screened, a spokesperson for ICE told Fox News Digital.

Hazmat teams descended on the 145th Avenue scene and were seen dressed in splash protection suits with masks and spray guns. After they had returned from the facility, they held each other while Sniffer dogs were also used.

The Cuban Migrant was arrested by ICE and has criminal prosecution pending the incident, which comes in the midst of an ice cream against illegal immigration under the new Trump government. ICE has aggressively focused on and deport criminal illegal migrants.

Two other people were admitted to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening, WSVN reported. Officials said that one was for diabetes and the other was for fear and asthma.

One eyewitness said he saw an employee dizzy and fainting just before officials responded to the stage, according to WSVN.

“The All Clear was given at 9.45 am and ice cream resumed,” said Ice. “We are not currently identifying the alien or the substance.”

The incident is now being investigated by Homeland Security, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the FBI, WSVN reported.
