President Donald Trump On Thursday, announced that the National Garden of American Heroes will get images of American sports legends.
During a Black History Month -Ceremony in the White House, Trump revealed that late NBA star Kobe BryantLate boxer Muhammad Ali and late civil rights icon and MLB pioneer Jackie Robinson will all be represented with images in the garden.

In addition to the legendary athletes who received images, Trump announced several leaders of the civil rights in other areas, including Martin Luther King Jr., Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Coretta Scott King and Frederick Douglass, will also receive statutes .

The National Garden of American Heroes was unveiled by Trump in 2020 and was dedicated to celebrating heroic figures in American history.

The garden is on the site of the National Mall in Washington, DC, designed to celebrate heroes from all layers of life, with images, busts and plaques who commemorate their enormous contributions to the country.
