The Pittsburgh Steelers Are on the market for a Quarterback this season out of season, because there are still questions about whether the team eventually brings Russell Wilson, Justin Fields back or sign someone new.

It started for the first time with rumors that the team called the Jacksonville Jaguars and inquired about the availability of Trevor Lawrence. Pro Football Talk later reported that there was never a call, and Lawrence itself shot rumors in an interview about “Up & Adams”.
Then the Steelers would be interested Daniel Jones. Andrew Fillipponi, a radio presenter for 93.7 The fan in Pittsburgh, wrote on X that there was “interest in the Steelers organization” in Jones. He wrote that there was a conviction that he would thrive in offensive coordinator Arthur Smith’s violation.
Steelers -Fans did not take the reported interest lightly and expressed frustrations on social media.
Jones was a first round pick of the New York Giants In 2019. He played under his Rookie season under Eli Manning for a few games before he took over full-time.
He was about six seasons at the Giants and led the team to one playoff performance and a victory after the season. New York cut him in the middle of the 2024 season and he later drew with the Minnesota Vikings.

Jones has 14,582 passing yards and 70 touchdown passes. He also has 2,179 rushing and 15 hurrying touchdowns.
