The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy lashed out on Wednesday to President Donald Trump, which suggests that Trump is in a “disinformation room” with regard to peace talks with Russia.
Zenskyy made the comments to reporters in Kiev after a cancellation of a trip to Saudi -Arabia, Where the US and Russia held peace talks earlier this week.
“Unfortunately, President Trump – I have a lot of respect for him as a leader of a nation for which we have a lot of respect, the American people who always support us – unfortunately lives in this disinformation room,” said Zensky.
Zenskyy’s canceled journey Saudi Aarabia was generally seen as a reprimand of the similarities that Trump’s team made with Russian counterparts during their Tuesday meeting there. Trump also followed the meeting with aggressive criticism of Zenskyy and Ukraine.

Trump Envoy Keith Kellog, a retired 3-star general, arrived in Kiev on Wednesday to have conversations with Zenskyy. Ukrainian officials have emphasized that every peace agreement requires American security guarantees to ensure that Russia does not continue the violence.

State Secretary Marco Rubio Led the American delegation in Saudi Aarabia, meeting the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Spokeswoman Tammy Bruce of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tammy Bruce also confirmed that the Rubio team agreed to “lay the foundation for cooperation” with Russia on different issues alongside Ukraine. They also agreed to appoint “high -level teams” to work on a way to ending the conflict in Ukraine.
Their proposed framework for a peace agreement would see a ceasefires -followed by elections in Ukraine and the signing of a final agreement.

Reports from several foreign diplomatic sources say that forcing Ukraine to keep new elections can be an important part of a peace agreement. Both the US and Russia believe that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy has a low chance of winning re -election, the sources say.

“Putin assesses the chance to choose a puppet president as quite high and is also convinced that any candidate than the current president of Ukraine will be more flexible and ready for negotiations and concessions,” said the diplomatic sources in an extraction of The meeting.
