VICE chairman David Hogg, David Hogg Democratic National Committee, took warmth on social media on Monday when he criticized the president Donald Trump For his appearance at the Daytona 500.
Trump was at Daytona International Speedway For the event and became the first president who was on the race twice. He was in the presidential limousine, ‘The Beast’, while it led drivers at a pace round before the green flag fell. He also gave a personal message to racers.

As Trump said that the spirit of Nascar and his fans will “feed the Golden Age of America,” Hogg claimed that the president’s decision to go to the race was nothing more than a “publicity stunt.”
“Driving in circles for a publicity stunt of several million dollars while you claim that you give so much to ‘efficiency’ if thousands of illegally are dismissed from their job and prices continue to rise is the perfect symbolism for the Trump -Admin,” Hogg wrote on X .
The DNC officer was confronted with criticism of his comments.

Hogg took over when the DNC Vice chair Earlier this month. He became known as a survivor of the Parkland 2018, Florida, shooting at school and founded a political action committee in 2023, of which he said to help young progressives be chosen in conference and state laws in the entire country.

Trump praised Nascar drivers during his appearance during the race.
“They have a lot of courage to do this. I see it and I have been here,” said President Jamie Little of Fox Sports. “They have a lot of guts, as they would say.”
Trump, accompanied by his granddaughter on the circuit, emphasized the progress of the United States since he started his second term as president.

“I think it’s fantastic. I think it’s great for the country,” he said. “The country is doing well again. We have all over the world. There is spirit again, we brought it back and it is less than four weeks ago. You will see what we do in a small period. Better. But this is very exciting.
