Antonius is rated again as Manchester United continues to thrive in Spain

Antonius admits that he loves life away from Manchester United, after giving another man on the screen of the race for the real Betis last night.

The very abused Brazilian scored one and created another, as Betis swept Real Sociedad 3-0 in Seville to move up to eighth in La Liga.

After a Cagey first semester, Antony’s Volley of the left foot gave the lead at home and also put Marc Roca for one of Midfielder’s two goals, as Betis eventually ran comfortable winners.

He said: “I am really happy with the game we had today. We knew it was really important to win and continue to trust.”

Antonius suffered a miserable moment at United after the Ajax’s £ 80m movement in August 2022. The 24 -year -old failed to influence and was unfair as the poster boy for the club’s struggles under Erik Ten Hag.

A move to Betis has rejuvenated the wing and enjoys his time in Spain.

He added: “I think the most important thing is to be happy. Here, I am really happy as I said before. I am very happy to score and help the team and continue to go so.”

Antonius has scored three goals in four games for Betis, but does not set himself as a goal besides continuing to enjoy his football once again.

He said: “I don’t set a number for goals. I work hard every day. I’m really focused, really happy here and enjoy every day.”
