“In this division and disturbing times, his voice is needed more than ever – because he is one of moral clarity, experience and led by what is good for people above all,” Cuomo wrote Saturday.
“Today, in these uncertain times, and after more than four decades of friendship and advice, I thank him for his belief in me and for his advice, trust and trust,” Cuomo said. “His feelings are both humiliating and deeply useful.”

McCall, a Black Elder Statesman who once applied a controversial gubernational primary against Cuomo in 2002, turned on Adams, the second black mayor of New York City. McCall endorsed the Mayoral campaign of Adams 2021.
“I have never urged a candidate to go to the office. But I have never found it so necessary to use my voice,” McCall wrote on Saturday. “For these reasons, I urge Governor Andrew Cuomo to go for the mayor of the city of New York and I offer my full support.”
“I have known Andrew for more than 40 years. Some may have been surprised that I andrew so strong and so early,” the letter continued. “But despite how it is sometimes framed in the press, we were never political opponents: twenty years ago we were competing candidates who then shared and now the same core values ​​are part.”
“More than anyone, Andrew is the leader we need and the leader we deserve,” wrote McCall.
