Prairie He made his debut in the NBC just over 40 years ago in September 1974 – and the favorite series often feels as appropriate as always today.
The show is based on a series of books of the same name, written by Laura Ingles Wilder. After the adventures of the Ingalls family in Walnut Grove, Minnesota, the series lasted nine seasons.
In addition to its basic cast, Small house also launched the career of Jason Baitmanwho played James Cooper Ingles, and reality star Kyle Richardswho participates as Alicia Sanderson Edwards.
Unfortunately, not the whole original cast is still with us. Michael LandonHe who participated in the role of Charles PA Ingles, died of pancreatic cancer on July 1, 1991, at the age of 54. Richard Bullwho played Nels Olson during all nine seasons of the show died in 2014 at the age of 89 and Kevin HagenWho plays Dr. Hiram Doc Baker, died of esophageal cancer in 2004.
