Dead California Man, Auto parts found 1000 feet under the South Rim of Grand Canyon


Search teams recently found the body of a Californian man Grand Canyon National Park.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was found on 10 February near the Yavapai Geology Museum, according to a spokesperson for the National Park Service.

At about 8 hours the park received a report on a broken rock wall and scattered car parts east of the museum.

Missing climber in Glacier National Park found dead after an apparent fall

During an air examination by Grand Canyon Aviation staff, crews found a vehicle and a 20-year-old man 1000 feet under the edge, according to officials.

A team of four responders, assisted by aviation staff, has successfully found the body.

Usually between 10 and 15 deaths are reported in the park every season.

Colorado Man Found Death in Grand Canyon National Park, 7th fatality in the past month

“Trail crew from the facility maintenance division will repair the damaged rock wall near the Yavapai Geology Museum in the coming days”, Park -Officials wrote to a statement Fox News Digital.

Visitors must expect a temporary bypass around the work area until 26 February.

The research is underway in coordination with the office of the medical researcher at Coconino County.
