Philadelphia Eagles Rooker Cooper Dejean ran away from the Super Bowl parties on Friday with lasting memories and possibly a scar.
The star cornerback had a remarkable cut over his left eye during the Super bowl Parade in the center of Philadelphia. But unlike managing director Howie Roseman, who was struck with a wandering beer can, Dejean’s injury was inflicted.

“Maybe the best day of my life. I have a small combat area,” Dejean told Fox Sports in an interview during the Parader Route.

“I hit myself with this big chain,” he said laughing, referring to the oversized Bud-Light chain that hung around his neck.
A Philly fan seemed to track down the moment the injury took place – it seemed to be when Dejean sprayed the crowd with beer.
The fan shared the photo with Dejean on X and he confirmed.

“Yes. Battle scars. I love this city,” he said in response.
Dejean, prepared by the Eagles in the second round of the NFL concept of 2024, had an immediate impact in his first NFL season, which was led by a fantastic performance in the 40-22 victory of the Eagles on the Kansas City Chiefs.
On his 22nd birthday he chose Patrick Mahomes to score a touchdown and became the first player in the history of Super Bowl who intercepted a pass or scored a touchdown on his birthday.

Images showed the football director with a large cut in his forehead, which was later revealed that it was the result of a wandering beer that can be thrown in his direction.
At the final destination of Friday’s parade, Roseman shouted against fans: “I was bleeding for this city!”
