Hamas released three hostages on Saturday in exchange for more than 300 Palestinian prisoners as part of the delicate -the fire agreement reached with Israel.
The released hostages were Alexander (Sasha) Troufanov, 29; Sagui Dekel-Chen, 36, and Yair Horn, 46. Troufanov has Israeli and Russian citizenship, Dekel-Chen is an American-Israeli and Horn is a double citizen of Israel and Argentina.
The three were abducted by Hamas from Kibbutz Nir Oz in the terror group of 7 October 2023, attack on Israel that the up to War in Gaza Now ceases -it -fire.

The Palestinian prisoners were freed from Israeli prisons as part of the sensitive cease -the fire agreement, which continued to keep even after the US president Donald Trump Endangered that “hell will break out” if Hamas does not release all remaining hostages this week. Trump has also said that he is committed to the US purchasing and takes over and has resumed the Palestinians elsewhere.
About 70 hostages remain in Hamas’ detention. Almost all remaining hostages, including Israeli soldiers, are men and about half are supposed to be dead.

In the first phase of the cease -the Fires have so far released 24 hostages and more than 1,000 Palestinian prisoners. The first phase includes the release of Hamas of 33 Israeli hostages in exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners in the hands of Israel.
The war could resume if no agreement is reached in the more complicated second phase, which Hamas evokes to release all remaining hostages and an indefinite expansion of the -fires.
