Liverpool manager Arne Slot says he wants to “return” and “do it differently” in the battle after the match that included his dismissal after the 98th minute equalizer to a 2-2 draw in Everton Monday.
In the MerseySide final at the home of Toffees’ Goodison Park, the reception was clearly stunned to receive a red card from Michael Oliver after approaching the referee on the court and exchanging a handshake.
“During the interruption time, there were a lot that happened and the feelings got the best of me,” Slot said, reflecting a decisive strike by James Tarkowski awarded after a review of the offside video and a possible foul on Reds Defender Ibrahima Konate.
“I would like to do it differently if I could come back. I hope to do it differently the next time.”

Arne Slot Red Card: “Respect process”
The reception suggested that he was unhappy that the amount of the additional time he played had gone through the minimum amount announced by officials.
The situation worsened on Thursday by the Premier League, which incorrectly announced that the Dutch had been banned two matches for “offensive, offensive or abusive language”.
No decision is expected until the Oliver Post-Match report is revised, with options open to the football club, including the accusation of the reception, reminding him of his responsibilities or not taking further measures.
“This is a continuous process now and we must respect it,” Splot added, who is expected to be in the Liverpool technical field when they Host Wolves in the Premier League On Sunday (2pm GMT). “So I can’t go to the details.”
