“It’s a heavy back on the back. That is what makes this loss frustrating,” Kerr said on Wednesday. “We have to come to Houston at 3 o’clock, whatever it is, because the NBA lets us play a game of 8:45 in its infinite wisdom. They clearly don’t care about rest or player health; these are just reviews and so things. I do. I am. get it.
It is not uncommon for star players to end up a back-to-back. Stephen Curry Was one of the games, but this weekend’s All-Star Break probably had something to do with that.

In January 2023, however, Curry rested as part of the “Long Game” and felt for the fans who missed it.
“I feel terrible for fans who have bought a ticket that he expects someone to play, and they don’t get to see that person playing. It is a brutal part of the company,” Kerr said at the time. “That is why I will continue to argue for 72 game seasons. And I know that it means less income, but at some point I think there should just be a consciousness of everyone involved in the competition.

“I always think about it. People spend good money to see a team, and then someone doesn’t play? That is not something I am ignorant for. I know that is painful. We have had many discussions with Fans over the years that have been in that situation. “
