Tottenham’s boss of Ange Postecoglou has surrendered a huge impetus with six players who will return in front of Sunday’s game against Manchester United.
After missing 11 players for last Sunday’s FA Cup output at Aston Villa, Spurs will have goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and midfielder James Maddison available once again, with Desini Udogie, Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert and return to action .
Postecoglou said: “It was a good week in terms of health and well -being of the men I care. The kids playing have benefited from a fair piece.
“Yes, on the injury front it is good to have players back because it increases the quality of our education. (Guglielmo) Vicario, yes.
“James Maddison is good to go. We had Destiny training (Udogie), Wilson (Odobert) and Brennan (Johnson) with the team. It’s in good place.”

‘It was difficult without Vicario’
Italy goalkeeper Vicario has not played since he broke his ankle against Manchester City in November, with Postcoglou using three different goalkeepers during this period.
January signs Antonin Kinsky a difficult afternoon at the villa, with Fraser Forster and Brandon Austin also fighting in the absence of Vicario.
“Vic, he is an excellent goalkeeper. He is such a presence among the boys. Really gets everyone.
“It was difficult without him because we have used three other goalkeepers. Everyone has contributed, none of them left us down. Vic is experienced.
“Maddison also has tremendous confidence and filters through the team. It can start. It was smaller, destiny, we’ll see. I want to get to a space when we have a midweeker when Destiny, Wilson and Timo A stretch can all the minutes of play.
Van de ven return imminent, romero
Postecoglou said defender Mickey Van de Ven is also close to returning and waiting for news about Center-back Cristian Romero Fitness.
The Australian boss added: “With Micky (Van de Ven), we made a decision and the catalyst with it is to look beyond the injury about how we can make it in a good place.
“He works with people for his engineers. He’s in a good place, training and feels very good. His return is imminent but we want to do it right.
“With (Cristian) Romero, it was a therapeutic issue. The injury has not been treated as quickly as we would like. We could push it, but we just wait. Depending on what’s going on, his return could be imminent as well.
“I’m not a doctor. There is an obstacle you can’t pass when you speak injuries or medically. Both are training, in various parts of their recovery. ”
