An aircraft that carries State Secretary Marco Rubio Was returned to joint andrews on Thursday evening due to a mechanical problem.
Rubio was on his way to Munich, Germany from Washington, DC on Thursday evening when the plane experienced a mechanical problem, according to spokesperson Tammy Bruce.

The plane turned around and returned to the joint base Andrews where it arrived just before 10 p.m.
An officer said that the mechanical problem had to do with the cockpit windshield on the C-32, a converted Boeing 757, took place about 90 minutes after the flight of joint base Andrews left.
Bruce said Rubio is planning to continue his Travel to Germany And the middle -east on another plane.

Rubio is expected to go to the Midden -East For a few days of visiting Israel, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, after attending the Munich safety conference in Germany.
His approaching visit to the Middle East comes in a crucial time in foreign policy, because after 16 months of war in Gaza, Israel and Hamas implement a three-way-fired fire.

It was not immediately clear whether Thursday’s delay would lead to Rubio a planned Friday morning meeting with vice -president JD Vance and the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy in Munich.
