“Not serious” -Ex-Cowboys All-Pro predicts Doom for franchise in HC Brian Schottenheimer

Dallas Cowboys officially presented their 10th coach in franchise history after a very published search that included two prominent names in Deion Sanders and Pete Carroll.

Eventually, the franchise decided to look inward and promote aggressive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer’s coach, launching a new era of Cowboys football. The fans had mixed reactions to the lease, mainly because Schottenheimer had previously worked under Mike McCarthy, suggesting that the team could continue with some of McCarthy’s ideas. In addition, Schottenheimer did not call the works as an aggressive coordinator, who raised further concerns.

Cowboys’ former wide receiver, Dez Bryant, expressed a more pessimistic view of the recruitment of Schottenheimer. During an interview with Sirius XM, Bryant shared his thoughts on leasing Schottenheimer, accusing Dallas of not being “serious” for the future:

“I felt last year the cowboys were rebuilt, they proved to me right,” Bryant said. “When I look at Dak Prescott and this offense, I look at the things you need to achieve in this championship.
