The Threat of cancer Dooms great for many people, but consumers can take certain smart and preventive steps to lower the risks.

Michelle Patidar, an integrative coach for food and cancer recovery in Chicago, recently shared in an Instagram post that she continues her own fight against cancer, even after she survived – and the specific steps she has taken since then.

In a recent video she posted on social media, Patidar shared a list of “things you will never find in my kitchen after the diagnosis of cancer at 32.”

Here is the full list of items that Patidar said she has been eliminated – and her replacements for them.

2. Nonstick cookware is replaced by stainless steel and cast iron cooking utensils.

3. Aluminum foil is replaced by non-bleached parchment paper.

4. Plastic containers and sandwich bagS are replaced by glass containers and paper bags.

Patidar, by the way, considered this an ‘easy swap’, and said she is trying to ‘say no to plastic as often as possible’.

By focusing on “quality fats and oils” instead of processed foods, Patidar was able to lower the chronic inflammation, she reported – “crucial for cancer prevention and recovery.”

“Moreover, replacing candles with essential oils has improved my indoor air quality,” she said. “The ‘convenience’ of poisonous products often has a substantial fine.”
