Democrat asks if there are fewer women in production because it sounds too masculine

“So, I asked them, so how many of those students who sign up and want to do this? How many are women?” Schakowsky said, adding that they told her that it was at least 13%.

“It was a low number,” she said. “And you said to involve more women in production. I just wonder if only the name production sounds like a man.”
