Christy Carlson Romano Says that it is a “miracle” that she is not blind.
The former Disney star was shot in the face during the weekend while she and her husband with her husband with her husband with her birthday. She was hit in five places, including directly under her eye.
“It’s a miracle,” she wrote on her Instagram on Tuesday, showing a video from her doctor who explained how close she got to become blind.
She added: “The shot was less than 1 mm from me permanently blinding. @Drseanpaul also explained that the shot missed all the vital parts of my eye by moving around it like a marble hugged the bend of a bowl (it is a deviation). “

She said the lead fragment should stay in her face because the removal of it could leave her blind.
The 40-year-old said doctors expect them to fully recover, although she might never be able to get an MRI with the main fragment in her face.
Another shot fragment in her skull will also remain in place because doctors said it will accelerate her healing process, she explained.
“He and other doctors will continue to follow me in the coming weeks and I will keep everyone informed,” she added. “I am very painful and tired, but I rest and heal well. I appreciate all your support and support of my husband, children and family.”

On Saturday, the “Even Stevens” Actress shared photos of her injury and explained that she had gone Kleipuif with her husband, Brendan Rooney, for his birthday then “another party” that was with them “unsafe in the wrong direction shots and shot me in the face.”

“With everything that happened, I can only think how grateful I am to live,” she wrote. “I love my daughters, husband, family and friends so much. I saw my life flash before my eyes and I tell you, hug the people around you every chance you can. Life can turn into an instant.”
