Sens. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska and Bill Cassidy, R-La., Both announced that they would vote to confirm the former representative. Tulsi gabbard serve as director of national information.
In a party-line mood on Monday, Murkowski, Cassidy and the other Republican senators who voted to continue with the confirmation process chose to support the cloture, while the members of the Senate Democratic Caucus who voted against each other bumped.

Gabbard, who served in the congress from the beginning of 2013 to the beginning of 2021, announced in 2022 that they were the Democratic.
