The Indian All-Rounder Riyan Parag recently broke the silence over the controversy surrounding the clear YouTube search history. The rising Indian cricket said one of a Discord server had tried to adjust it and the situation rushed not to correspond to the successful IPL season.
Parag participated in a dispute after YouTube’s search history was unintentionally revealed during a live flow after IPL 2024. The incident went viral on the internet, with fans criticizing and mocking him for searching for actors Bollywood Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan in an explicit way.

After months of silence, Riyan Parag reacted to the controversy over the clear YouTube search history in an interview with City1016 Radio. He clarified that the incident happened before the IPL, but reappeared after the tournament when he reiterated the live game.
However, after its successful IPL season, the incident gained more attention. When asked about the viral incident, Parag was humorously replied: “I’m H*Tter.”

Riyan Parag said he did not know the alleged explicit searches and added that someone had tried to install it. He also stated that the situation fell into proportion and did not feel the need to justify himself.
“I came and opened my current. I didn’t have Spotify or Apple Music. Everything was deleted,” Parag explained.
“So I went to YouTube to put on the music and searched for music, but I didn’t know what was going on, but once I finished the current, I was like oh s ** t! That happened.

Parag had an excellent IPL 2024, finishing as a top scorer of Rajasthan Royals with 573 runs in 14 Innings and was the third highest tournament graduate. He made his international debut in a T20I match against Zimbabwe in July 2024, followed by a debut ODI against Sri Lanka in August 2024.
He became the first cricket from Assam and the northeast to receive a ceiling of India. However, an injury to the shoulder was overwhelmed by India’s T20i series against South Africa and England, leading to his exclusion from the Champions Trophy team. He has recovered and made his return to the Ranji 2024-25 trophy.
