Joao Felix hopes to extend the AC Milan Stay and “pushed hard” to move a loan from Chelsea

Joao Felix says he “pushed hard” to join AC Milan for a loan from Chelsea and revealed that he would like to stay with Serie A giants in the summer.

International Portugal secured a transition to Milan on the day of the deadlines and came out of the bench to score against Roma in the Hus debut in Coppa Italia before making his first series a start against Empoli.

Felix joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid last summer, but was competing for the game under Enzo Maresca, starting only three times in the Premier League.

And having already felt love by supporters since he was heading to Italy, the 25 -year -old said he was already willing to make his move permanent.

Felix said in his official revelation: “At the moment, I’m on a loan until June. Let’s see how it goes. For the time being, I really enjoy everything: the club, the people, the facilities.

“I’ve been very well welcomed. The most important thing is to be where I feel good and feel good here.

“Then in football, things can change, but if you can stay in Milan, I would like this.”

“I pushed hard to come here. I want to give everything to this club,” the Portuguese added.

“I already knew (sergio) Conceicao. His passion is contagious. And victory is necessary.

“Kaka was always my idol. I saw myself inside and I tried to imitate him.”

Felix debut target

In his positive start in Milan, Felix added: “We had two wins. I had the opportunity to play in San Siro and score for Milan.

“I knew about the greatness of this club, Milan is huge. From abroad, you can see that it is a very big club, and when you are in, you realize that you are in one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

“I already knew the coach. I had played against him and followed him.

“I told him what I was expecting: To play in my role. He never told me if I would play a lot or a little, but to play in my role. That was what I was convinced to come to Milan.”

Maresca: We don’t miss Felix

Chelsea Boss Maresca seems unlikely to stand in Felix if she wishes to leave Stamford Bridge permanently, with the Italians suggesting that they have enough quality in the team.

He said: “I don’t think we miss Joao. Joao is happy there and we are happy Joao is happy there.

“We had two strikers’ injuries on the day of the deadline, it’s hard to think about. Nico (Jackson) can come back very soon.

“Sometimes I think you have to play some games without the players to realize how important it is. In addition to the ball, his pressing (Jackson) is always very good and the ball is always a threat.”
