The Eagles of Philadelphia defeated Kansas City 40-22 leaders in the Super Bowl Lix to win the franchise the second Lombardi trophy. Previously, the Eagles beat the New England 41-33 patriots to win the Super Bowl Lii in 2018.
This is Philly’s second Super Bowl victory in its last three attempts, bringing the franchise’s overall record in 2-3 in the big game. It also serves as revenge for the victory of Kansas City 38-35 in the Super Bowl LVII in 2023.
General Eagles Jalen Hurts was named MVP. It had three total touchdowns and 293 total yards in the game.
Philly’s defense was remarkable. The unit forced three cycles of work, recorded a pick-six and was fired by Patrick Mahomes six times.
Facing the 4th and 2nd in the middle section in the game’s inaugural movement, Jalen Hurts completed a crossing on the wide AJ Brown receiver, but Brown was punished for aggressive interference, so Philly ended up falling the ball away.
After a KC Punt, Philadelphia’s second move was expanded thanks to a somewhat controversial unnecessary punishment for roughness for leaders rear trent McDuffie. After a 27-meter pass to Wideout Jane Dotson, the Eagles performed a push of a lumen to take a 7-0 lead. This marked Dotson’s first catch from the first trimester of the Wild Card.

The wide receiver Devonta Smith made a huge game in a 3rd and 8 to keep another Philadelphia Drive. Kansas City was forced to stop a third stop, but an away penalty canceled it, leaving the eagles to end the quarter in the territory of the leaders 7-0. But they would not use, as Jalen Hurts threw a choice as soon as he played later, his first Int from the week ten.

Two games later, AJ Brown reached the final zone on a 12-meter crossing route to move 24-0 to the break. Philly’s 24-Pontegon Half-Half Bow was the second largest in the history of Super Bowl.
KC abandoned the bags in back games in the first half of the second half, which led to the sixth place of the Chiefs game. After leaving five bags in their previous two games, Kansas City had delivered five bags in the first 33 minutes of Super Bowl Lix.
In the third quarter, Jalen Hurts began to make things happen with his feet. Took 30 meters on two routes to reach the KC Four Yard line. The leaders put a goal booth together and an Eagles goal made it 27-0.

KC finally managed to reach the Board of Directors shortly before the end of the third quarter in a 24-yard touchdown to the champion of a wide-ranging Xavier champion worthy. They failed to convert a two-point test so they can only reduce Philly’s lead to 34-6.
Another 40-foul Eagles Drive was covered with a field aimed to extend the lead to 37-6 with under ten minutes left in the game.
The third turnover of the Patrick Mahomes of the Super Bowl was a strip-design-friend in the fourth quarter, recovered by Philly. This was Mahomes’ sixth sack, a high career for the triple Super Bowl MVP.
Philly will only win six meters before Jake Elliott hit the fourth goal of the game to proceed 40-6. After losing eight goals during the regular season, Elliott made every stadium he tried in the playoffs.
Kansas City scored two touchdowns and a pair of two-point conversion to finish the score at 40-22.
With this victory, the Eagles prevented the leaders from becoming the first franchise NFL to win three straight super bowls. This really marks the second time Philly has stopped another group of three -seat. Coincidentally, Eagles’ 2018 victory over the patriots was sandwiches between two New England Super Bowl championships. If Philadelphia lost the Super Bowl Lii, the patriots would become the first NFL team in three peat after their win over Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl Liii.
Unfortunately for the leaders, they finished the campaign with a record of 17-3. KC lost only two games this season that Patrick Mahomes started: Matchup of the team 11 with Buffalo Bills and Super Bowl Lix.
