The Marinier who died in addition to three defense contractors last Thursday when their security flight crashed The Philippines has been identified as SGT. Jacob M. Durham, according to officials.

On Sunday, US indo-Pacific command Durham identified as the Marine on the plane. The three contractors are not identified.

The resident of California was trained as an electronic intelligence/electromagnetic warfare analyst and assigned to the 1st radio cataljon, I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
In a press release, Indo-Pacific Command said that Durham came to the Marine Corps in January 2021 and had just been promoted to his current rank on 1 February.
Durham earned countless prices and decorations, including the Marine and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National defense Service Medal, a deserving mast and navy -Aircrew Insignes.

“We mourn the loss of Sgt. Jacob Durham, who has made the ultimate sacrifice for our country,” said Lieutenant Mabel B. Annunziata, commander of the 1st radio cataljon. “Sgt. Durham embodied the highest traditions of the Marine Corps -illustrating calmness, intelligence and selfless leadership. He was deeply respected and loved by his colleague marines. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and his coiniers during this deeply difficult time “
The plane involved in the crash was a Marine Corps Beechcraft King Air 350, a high American defense officer told Fox News.
Military officials say that the aircraft crashed during a routine mission to support the activities of American security.

Officials added that the aircraft offered supervision, intelligence and reconnaissance support for ally nation.
The Cause of the crash is being investigated.
