Mayor of Philadelphia Cherelle Parker warned Eagles fans about them Post-Super Bowl Lix Celebrations after their last left at least one person dead and several injured people in individual incidents.
The Eagles will take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday evening in a rematch of Super Bowl LVII. Philadelphia officials made it clear that they were ready for partygoers to take to the streets after the game. Parker warned fans not to climb on the light posts of the city.

“Don’t climb light posts or anything else,” she said Friday, via Fox 29 Philadelphia. “Please, Philadelphia, I beg you as a mayor, don’t climb light posts or something else.”
She added climbing to any type of structure or fixture “can lead to tragedy.”
Tyler Sabapathy, an 18-year-old student athlete from Temple University, died after he had fallen off the post and had landed on his head while he celebrated the NFC Championship victory of the Eagles, said the Philadelphia police, said Fox 29 Philadelphia. The teenager was taken to the hospital and was in a very critical condition before he eventually died.

At least three other people were injured when a driver drove in a crowd of pedestrians after the play -off match at Lincoln Financial Field.
“The Philadelphia police are on an all-hand-on-Deck approach to guarantee the safety of everyone,” said police commissioner Kevin J. Bethel on Friday. “Our officers will be fully in force in the city, ready to keep the festivities flexible.”
