“Seasonal firefighters are essential for the public safety of those who live in fire -sensitive areas, and I am alerted that federal firefighters are not a party to this exemption,” he said. “In the light of this, I ask for information from your agencies in which it is explained why the federal hiring freezing has expanded to hire seasonal federal Willand firesmen.”
