Former Disney star Christy Carlson Romano Almost an eye lost during photographing clay pigeons with her husband, Brendan Rooney, for his birthday.
On Saturday, the 40-year-old actress shared an Instagram video with the injuries on her face, including a large wound under her right eye, after she was hit “in five places” by “another party”.
In her post, Romano explained that the outing was meant as a “present” for Rooney’s birthday.
“So I was shot in the eyes. It wasn’t fun,” said the “even Stevens” star with a shaky sigh at the start of the clip.

“I was shot here. It is still inside,” she continued, pointing to a bullet hole under her eye, which was swollen with blood in the eyeball.
“There is a fragment here,” Romano said, tapping on the side of her face near her eye.
“There is an excerpt here,” she added, pointing to a sign on her forehead. Romano lifted her hair to show another wound on her forehead and said, “We cleaned that.”
“I am very grateful to the first care providers as a whole. I mean, it’s just the most amazing superheroes who take care of us at our most desperate times.”

Romano expressed her gratitude for the care she received in St. John’s South Austin Medical Center Austin, Texas.
“This was really bad tonight,” she said. “Everything is a bit cleaning up. But I have to say, I was shot in the face. And live to tell the story.
“Be grateful every day.”
“I saw my life flash before my eyes.”
In the caption of her position, Romano continued in detail about the harrowing incident on Friday.

“Yesterday was my husband’s birthday and I took him to shoot Clay Duiven like a gift,” she wrote. “There was another match with us and they shot in the wrong direction and shot me in the face.”

The “Special Forces: World’s Twarest Test” Star said that her husband “immediately came into action, rated me and hurried me to the hospital. I was hit in 5 places, one was less than a centimeter of me directly in my right eye.”
“Unfortunately, an excerpt has been recorded behind my eye and it is too risky to remove surgical at the moment,” she added. “Doctors will continue to follow me.”

Romano noted that she “can see normally at the moment.”
“With everything that happened, I can only think how grateful I am to live. I love my daughters, husband, family and friends so much.

Romano and Rooney met for the first time in February 2011 and made the knot in December 2013. The couple shares daughters Isabella Victoria, 8, and Sophia Elizabeth, 5.

The writer director shared a tribute to his wife in the comments of her Instagram post.
“You are the bravest, most difficult, most stoic and tough woman I have ever met,” he said. ‘I am so grateful that you live. I am so grateful that you are the mother of our children. I would not know what to do without you.
“I love you more than life itself,” he added, with a prayer hands emoji.

Rooney also shared the video of his wife about his Instagram story and wrote: “Kiss Your Loved Ones”, adding an emoji of a red heart.
Kink is an outdoor sport in which upside down circular discs made of limestone and pitch that is used as goals are used by machines called Traps. Shooters use shot rifles where every shot projects hundreds of small leads to touch the clay pigeons.
The sport is usually not considered dangerous, as long as the safety measures are followed.
