Leyton Orient striker Jamie Donley says his Wonderstrike against Manchester City would have calculated for more that had his side produced a cup of FA upset.
Donley’s 45 -meter incredible effort will be technically reduced as a goal for goalkeeper Stefan Ortega, but Tottenham’s man deserves all the credit. His shot flew over the goalkeeper’s head, hit the bar and hit Ortega’s legs before he got in.

The League One Side Orient led the Premier League champions for the next 40 minutes before visitors hit back through a lucky Abdukodir Khusanov goal before a piece of brilliance by Jack Grealish and Kevin de Bruyne 2-1.
Donley said to the BBC: “I thought we were doing well. We knew it would be a very difficult game. I thought we gave a good description of ourselves. It’s frustrating to lose, but I’m proud of boys.”
To his goal, he added: “I know I hit the target well. I knew he fell well for me. I saw him from his line and fortunately came in. It would be a happy moment. It would be much better if we won. It was disappointing that we lost, But it was a good time.
“It’s a top team. They haven’t done what they have in recent years. But you can see the quality they have.”
Lewis relieved of the city
Rico Lewis, whose shot hit Khusanov before the wrong goalkeeper Josh Keeley and entered the level, admitted that the city had been seriously tested on Brisbane Road.
He said: “Credit to Leyton Orient, we had a hard time playing. It’s easy to say it’s harder than you think, but we all know they’re tough. The crowd is right for it.
“The season has not surpassed how we wanted. Every game now, as long as we win, could be an excellent time for us.”
