‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Star saved Late grandfather’s watch before the house burned in Palisades.


“Top Gun: Maverick” Star Miles Teller Prior to the evacuation of his family, detailes the moments during the fire of Palisades.

During a performance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, the actor explained that before his house burned down in the Pacific Palisades, his grandmother had moved to South California and lived with him after his grandfather died.

Teller flashed his watch during the talk show and explained that he, while evacuating, took the watch from his grandfather.

“One of the items I took was my grandfather’s watch. I don’t know which camera that is,” said counter, pointing to his grandfather’s watch on his wrist.

During the La Fireaid advantage concert on Thursday, the counter broke his silence after he and his wife, Keleigh counter, lost their house during the Palisades Fire.

“My wife and I lost, just like many of us in the Pacific Palisades, our house in the fire and my heart breaks for everyone who is struck in the city. Really, my heart goes out to all of you.”

Last month, Keleigh went to Instagram to post before and after photos of their house, and noticed in the caption that she was sorry that she left her wedding dress when she and the actor evacuated before the flames consumed their property.

“If you are in the LA environment, please go out if you can. I wish I had taken my wedding dress … I wish I did it much different, but it doesn’t matter, stay safe, go away , “wrote Keleigh partly in time.

Teller was accompanied on stage by a neighbor of his, who shared his moving, personal story about how the Palisades -fire influenced him and his family.

Musicians gathered in Los Angeles for the Fireaid Benefit concert, which was held at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum. The purpose of the advantage was to rebuild communities that were decimated by the fires that burned by Los Angeles in January.
