Former Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnellR-ky., Fell on a small staircase on Wednesday when he left the Senate room after a confirmation mood for housing and Urban Development Secretary Nominee Scott Turner.
McConnell, who is 82 years old and a survivor of the children’s polio, dropped out of the stairs and was quickly assisted by Sens. Steve Daines, R-Mont., And MarkWayne Mullin, R-Okla.

It is not clear whether he suffered injuries, but Fox News was told that the former leader seems to be in order.
The McConnell office did not immediately comment on Fox News Digital.
