Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni Muilkorfd by judge in heated sexual harassment struggle


The lawyers of Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni were in court on Monday to discuss what can and cannot be said to the public on behalf of their customers.

A judge ordered the legal teams of the stars to follow the New York rules of professional behavior, which limit speaking the press. Neither parties may take the press who have a “substantial probability” to harm a jury. However, the legal teams may defend their client in the media against publicity that was not created by both parties.

The respective legal teams of Livique and Baldoni appeared in the federal court on Monday to discuss a potential gag order and the alleged refusal of the actress to allow the “Jane the Virgin” star of the star her statement in Leiden. Lawyers for both parties claimed that the actors had lost “hundreds of millions of dollars in compensation” as a result of statements in the press after the first claims of Lively’s initial sexual harassment.

A proposed protection order is due on March 11 and the test date has still been established for March 2026.

Lively had specifically accused Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, of attacking her character in statements that were shared with the media. However, Freedman seemed “satisfied” with the outcome of Monday’s hearing.

“Our customers have been destroyed and want to move the case as quickly as possible,” Freedman told reporters outside the courthouse. “We just could no longer be satisfied with how the case was treated today, how it was managed.”

“We will move as quickly as possible as we can and prove our innocence, in a world where people sometimes judge you before they give you a chance. And we will change that.”

The Lively team said that they are “satisfied with the result of today’s hearing and would like to immediately move forward with a discovery in this case.”

“The court granted our request that all lawyers in the case actually follow the rule of law and do not make any statements that a jury can harm,” said Lively, Michael Gottlieb & Esra Hudson, provided to Fox News Digital.

“This case is about serious accusations of sexual harassment and retribution. We will hold the defendants responsible, and we are convinced that as soon as all the evidence has been submitted in this matter, Mrs. Lively will prevail.”

Prior to the hearing, lawyers for Lively Baldoni’s lawyer hit the media for making several statements to the media that could ultimately infect the jury if the symptoms of sexual harassment of the actress against Baldoni would reach a courtroom.
