Evan Ferguson has called on the transition to West Ham a “great opportunity” after the Brighton & Hove Albion loan has been signed for the rest of the season.
Irish Republic Aggressive Ferguson will be reunited with New Hammers Manager Graham Potter and his training staff, who gave his 20 -year -old debut while in Albion in 2022.
“I know Gafer well and look forward to working down again,” Ferguson said West Ham website. “I can see and know how much Big West Ham United is.
“It was a great opportunity for me to come here. It’s good to be here. Seeing the stadium and it’s here today, I have a very good feeling,”

Transfer Evan Ferguson: Potter ‘excited’
Ferguson was productive in the Premier League 2 but made only one Premier League Appearance before Potter left Brighton for Chelsea in September 2022.
He established himself as normal under Potter’s successor, Roberto de Zerbi, at that time, including a series of nine goals and two aids in 23 matches on his way to win the young player of the Seagulls season.
“He is a player we obviously know very well, so I am grateful to the Board of Directors to bring him in,” said Potter, who was director of Seagulls when Ferguson joined the Irish Bohemia’s academy in 2021.
“He has many quality characteristics as an striker we believe will benefit the team over the next few months. We are excited to incorporate him into the team and see him in action in the coming weeks.”

Evan Ferguson’s statistics, targets
Ferguson started in 15 of Brighton’s first 30 games last season, with three of his six goals coming to a hat-trick home at Newcastle in September 2023.

West Ham will not be able to call Ferguson for their trip to Chelsea on Monday (8pm GMT), when Potter aims to add to the four -point return to three responsible league games.
Ferguson could make his West Ham debut at his home in Brdford on Saturday (3pm), soon coming as a Brighton substitute in their embarrassment at Nottingham Forest last Saturday.
Earlier on the day of the deadline, West Ham announced that Playmaker James Ward-Prowse returned to the club after a loan spell on Forest.
