FAA Academy in Oklahoma had difficulty filling classrooms because of Dei quota, says Senator Mullin


Sen. MarkWayne Mullin, R-Okla., Told on Saturday to “Fox News Live” that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Academy in Oklahoma has trouble filling classrooms for Quotes.

“Where the FAA air traffic controllers are trained, there is here in Oklahoma, in Oklahoma City,” said Mullin. “That is their training hub and I will tell you that we had a hard time filling the lessons because of Dei.”

Flight safety has become a subject of discussion this week after an aircraft from an American Airlines and an army helicopter collided outside Reagan National Airport on Wednesday. Two days later on Friday, a medical jet crashed on a street near the Roosevelt shopping center Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Mullin argued that Dei may have played a role in the lack of security parality, especially after the crash outside Reagan National Airport. He said that focusing on hiring “the best and smartest individuals” is a much more reliable strategy than concentrating on “diversity, fairness and inclusion” policy.

At the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, the dei policy resulted that classes that were not used to fulfill dei quota, Mullin said.

“Instead of being 100% full, we were at 80% or 70%, and it was not because of the lack of people who request it, except that each class had a relationship they needed,” the senator said .

“President Trump is absolutely right,” said Mullin. “If you do not hire people based on merit and expertise; you hire them on the basis of diversity, fairness and inclusion, then that has a huge problem for us.”
