White House to impose rates on Mexico, Canada and China because of ‘Invasion of Illegal Fentanyl’


White House Pers Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that president Donald Trump Will perform rates at Mexico, Canada and China from Saturday.

Trump’s economic plan during his campaign called for the expansion of the tax cuts of 2017 and the imposition of rates from 10% to 20% on all imported goods. For countries such as China, that number could rise to 60%.

These countries will face these rates because they have allowed an “unprecedented invasion of illegal fentanyl to kill American citizens,” said Leavitt.

“The president will perform a 25% rate tomorrow on Mexico, 25% rates on Canada and a rate of 10% on China for the illegal fentanyl that they have bought and spread to our country, which killed tens of millions of Americans,” ” Leavitt told reporters on Friday. “These are promises and promises.”

While Canadian President Justin Trudeau said on Friday that Canada was willing to respond to executed rates, Leavitt said that the rates are not expected to cause a trade war with Canada and that Trump would respond to Trudeau in ‘the right time’.
