Chuck Todd, the former moderator of “Meet the Press”, leaves NBC News.
Todd, who became a noticeably less visible presence on the network after he was replaced as “Meet the Press” moderator by Kristen Welker in 2023 after nine years in the chair, announced that he would leave NBC on Friday.
“We are grateful for Chuck’s many contributions to our political reporting during his almost two decades of career at NBC News and for his deep dedication to meet the press and the permanent inheritance. We wish him the very best in his next efforts,” an NBC News -spokesman told variety.
