Red Devils Cruise in the last 16 of the Europa League


Manchester United recorded their last 16 Europa League with a 2-0 win over FCSB.

Used goals by Diogo Dalot and Kobbie Mainoo proved the difference as the Red Devils were controlled by their Romanian hosts.

The first semester was a Cagey case, with the United dominant occupation, but struggled to break a well -organized FCSB defense.

Visitors shaped some decent openings, with goalkeeper Rasmus Hojlund Tarnovanu and Christian Eriksen shooting half a straight volleyball on the shot-stopper.

However, it was the FCSB that came closer to breaking the impasse when Popescu met with Radunovic’s cross with a sliding volleyball, only to see Roll’s efforts to be spacious.

United raised the pressure after the break, introducing Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo to introduce some very necessary offensive spark.

Despite delayed attempts by FCSB, including a header coming out of Birligea saved well by Bayindir, guests were comfortable seeing the rest of the minutes.

With this victory, Manchester United are expanding their undefeated route to the Europa League Group-Stage away to seven matches. The Red Devils are now looking at the knockout stages, with confidence that grow up as they chase European silverware.
