Also on Thursday, the nominee of Trump for armor secretary, Daniel Driscoll, the relatively unknown soldier and former adviser of Vice President JD VanceFielded questions from the Senate Committee for Armed Services.

For confirmation, a candidate needs a majority in the Senate, or 51 votes. Vice President JD Vance can arrange a TIE mood, as was the case with the confirmation of Minister of Defense Pete Hegseeth.

From Thursday, the US Senate has confirmed seven of the nominations of the Trump cabinet, including State Secretary Marco Rubio, CIA director John Ratcliffe, Minister of Defense Pete Hegseth, Minister of Interior Security Krisit Noom, Minister of Treasury Duffes, transport secretary Senent, transport secretary and Environmental Protection Agency for Administration Lee Zeldin.
