College Basketball -Fans Brawl as Saint Louis Tops VCU in Pivotal Conference Matchup


A fight broke out in the stands of the Saint Louis Fair The 78-69 victory of men’s basketball team on the VCU Rams on Tuesday evening.

The incident took place near the VCU BencH with about 1:10 in the game. Two men were seen on the CBS Sports broadcast of the game that grabbed each other and a few rows fell when bystanders tried to break the Fracas.

Security officers came up to take it apart. The competition, which took place in the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, was delayed for about seven minutes before the action resumed. It is unclear whether arrests were made during the incident.

When the game was going again, Saint Louis closed the game.

Gibson Jimerson led the Billikens with 26 points and Kobe Johnson added 19 while the team took a huge victory in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Robbie Avila has added 14 points.

VCU’s Zeb Jackson led the team with 15 points and two steals. Phillip Russell also had 15 points, while Max Shulga 14. VCU had until 16-5 on season and 6-2 in conference game. The loss ended the six-game extraction streak of the team.

Saint Louis followed three points before Jimerson broke out for 16 in the second half to lift the team.
