Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Targeted the state department of Public Safety (DPS) Tactical Strike Teams to help with the operation of the Trump administration to locate and arrest criminal illegal immigrants throughout the state.
“Texas is expanding our activities to help President Donald Trump to protect Americans and force the rule of law,” said Abbott on Tuesday. “Today I instructed the Texas Department of Public Safety to use tactical attack teams to work with our federal partners to enforce immigration laws throughout the state.
“These teams will coordinate with domestic security authorities to trace the thousands of illegal immigrants with active warrants in Texas and to deport them from our country,” Abbott added. “After four years failed, Texas finally has a partner in President Trump. Together we will end this crisis and make America safe again.”
Abbott’s office said that DPS Tactical Strike Teams will work together with the Homeland Security Task Force to use staff and resources to identify and arrest the nearly 5,400 illegal immigrants with active warrants from all over Texas.

The order comes only a few days after the police chief of Austin, Lisa Davis, has announced that her department will not help federal agents in maintaining civil immigration.
Austin PD did not respond to FOX News Digital’s request for comment on this.
Austin City Councilor Vanessa Fuentes praised the chef’s statement while she spoke about the feedback she had received from the community about American immigrations and customs enforcement operations.
