Cooper Flagg scored 24 points, picked up seven rebounds and shoved six assists that played 39 of 40 minutes in the Duke Blue Devils’ 63-56 victory over the Wake Forest Demon Deacon on Saturday.
Duke, the No. 2 team in the nation, improved to 17-2 and 9-0 against ACC opponents. It was Flagg who gave the blue devils the shock they needed in the second half removed to inches Wake Bos. At one point, Flagg scored three times on a point of seven straight -scoring assets.

In defense, Duke switched from man-to-man to zone to slow down the demon deacons with about eight minutes left in the game. Flagg admitted that he never played a zone before. He ended with two blocks in the game.
The legend of Flagg only grows for his likely jump to the NBA. It is a version like the one against Wake Forest who only solidified him at the next level as a potential generation talent. It even left an indelible impression on Wake Forest Coach Steve Forbes.
