
Billy Ray Cyrus returned to social media after the son Trace Cyrusconcern for his father’s health.
Billy Ray, 63, enjoyed a day out with his dogs on Saturday, January 25, sharing snaps of his outing via Instagram Story, including a clip of the pooch running across a field to The Osborne’s ‘Rocky Top’ Brothers.
In another video, the same pup was curled up in the passenger seat of a car while Coldplay’s “Yellow” played on the radio, while another of Billy Ray’s dogs sat outside.
Earlier this week, Trace, 35, shared emotional message on social media, claiming that his famous father is not “well.” In her caption, Trace offered to support Billy Ray for the issues he may be “struggling” with next his performance at the Freedom Ball on Monday, January 20, in honor of President Donald Trumptaking office.
“From my earliest memories, all I can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest guy ever,” Trace wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, Jan. 22, along with his throwback photo on stage with his father. “I wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life.”

In his post, Trace also noted that “the girls,” including his sister Noah Cyrusare also concerned about their father. “Unfortunately, the man I so desperately wanted to be is exactly who I barely recognize him now,” the former Metro Station frontman continued. “It seems this world has defeated you and it has become obvious to everyone but you.”
Billy Ray is the father of six children. He adopted Trace and sister Brandi37, the former wife’s biological children Tish Cyrus from a previous connection and welcome Miley32, Brayson30 and Noah25, with Tish during their marriage. (Billy Ray also shares a son Christopher Cody32, p Kristen Lucky.)

Not all of Billy Ray’s kids are on the same page about their father. On Friday, January 24, Brayson made the announcement via Instagram Stories Billy Ray was on the mend after a hospital stay in 2024
“After spending a week in the hospital in the fall, I’m thankful that my dad is happy, healthy and ready to make this record,” Brayson wrote. He and Billy Ray confirmed on Friday that they will work together on the Grammy winner’s next album, with Braison ready to produce the record.
Billy Ray has not commented on Trace’s claims. However, Trace responded to Braison’s statement on Friday, writing via Instagram Story, “Birds of a feather, flock together. This is what healthy looks like. Brayson, I can help you too. Damn you guys. Us Weekly reached out to Braison for comment.
