Californian schools destroyed by Palisades Fire

While schools in the natural fire had an influence on areas of Los Angeles, parents are starting to worry about poisonous axis that can be harmful to their children.
Kelli Ferrone’s Daughters’ school, Canyon Charter Elementary, was able to open as quickly as Monday. But after cleaning the campus just half a mile of the devastating Palissades Fire Ferrone himself told the Associated Press that she would rather be that it will be moving temporarily instead of quickly opening again.
“The (Los Angeles Unified School District) has never experienced such a disaster in their history,” Ferrone told the AP. “And I think people try very hard, but our school needs a new temporary house with classrooms and teachers who teach personally. That is the only thing people feel at ease.”
The ash is one toxic soup of burnt cars, Electronics, batteries, building materials, paints, furniture and any other kind of hearing personally. The ash contains pesticides, asbestos, plastics and lead, for which children are more vulnerable, but scientists still do not have the long -term health effects.

“Children often have more hand-to-mouth behavior and their body grows rapidly in these first few years, so they can be more sensitive to this type of pollution”, Dr. Lisa Patel, a pediatrician and executive director of the Medical Society Consortium about climate and health, said the AP. “There will be a risk for a while to get into terms of exposure.”
