This put Baldoni in “the awkward position of meeting alone with the intimacy coordinator and later relaying suggestions and plans for sex scenes to Lively while the intimacy coordinator was absent,” according to his lawsuit.

“These meetings often took place, at Lively’s insistence, in the couple’s home, and often while Lively’s husband was present. Lively’s method was unconventional and uncomfortable for Baldoni. It is knowingly false to suggest that Baldoni was the one who created this scenario.

After the release, Blake Lively’s legal team demanded that a gag order be issued against Baldoni’s attorney.

Lively’s team blasted Freedman for making multiple statements to the media that could taint a jury if the actress’ sexual harassment complaints against Baldoni reached the courtroom.

“Given that Ms. Lively’s counsel has repeatedly attempted to warn Mr. Freedman, federal lawsuits must be pursued in court and under the relevant rules of professional conduct,” said a letter obtained by Fox News Digital.

“His conduct threatens and will materially harm both the Lively Case and the Wayfarer (Studios) Case by tainting the jury pool because his statements are deliberately aimed at undermining the ‘character, credibility (and) reputation’ of numerous relevant parties.”

On January 23, Baldoni’s attorneys filed a response, calling Lively’s attempted gag order an “intimidation tactic” and “tactical gamesmanship.”

“After publicly making ruinous allegations that the Wayfarer Parties can prove to be false, the Lively Parties are now invoking attorney disciplinary rules as an intimidation tactic,” Baldoni’s legal team wrote.

“The Lively Parties’ desire to force the Wayfarer Parties to defend themselves privately against accusations made in public is not a good basis for a gag order. It is tactical play and it is outrageous.”

The filing says that after a “bombshell” article in the New York Times contained Lively’s allegations of sexual harassment against Baldoni, the release of the unedited “This Ends With Us” footage was critical to protecting Baldoni.
