Manchester City’s new signs Vitor Reis, Abdukodir Khusanov and Omar Marmoush are all available to deal with Chelsea on Saturday with director Pep Guardiola saying “they will make us strong”.
The frustrating period of the city took another turn in the middle week when after 2-0 on Paris, they were strongly hit by the PSG to leave their chances for the Champions League progress in doubt.
They were busy in the market, however, signing the defenders Reis and Khusanov and front Marmoush for a combined fees of £ 128 million.
Confirming that everyone could appear on Saturday, Guardiola said: “Vitor is young, he has a huge personality, it takes time. If he is here with us, of course he can start.

“Khusanov already has with the fact that he played in the French league, handling hard, fast, fast players. But he doesn’t speak much English, so communication will be one of the situations we need to face.
“Marmoush, I think it will be adapted quickly.
“They will make us strong and I am sure the club has decided for these prospective players for the future and many years.”
Ruben Dias and Jeremy Doku will lose both against Chelsea.
Dias had to be replaced in the half-time defeat of the Champions League Wednesday by Paris St-Germain.
Guardiola said Dias had an injury and was not sure when he would be appropriate to return.
Despite the poor first half of the Guardiola season he is sure of the Champions League qualifying again next season.
He said: “We can do it. Why should I think differently?
“We will do it. I think it’s going to happen. I’m very positive. ”
