Maresca responds to Garnacho of speculation, Palmer’s injury and city races


Enzo Maresca closed the speculation that connects Chelsea with Manchester United Winger Alejandro Garnacho, insisting that he is “happy” with the forwards at his disposal.

An exhibition at Sky Sports said the blues are thinking of a move for Argentina, which recently lost its place in the original Ruben Amorim series in recent weeks.

Amorim refused to confirm whether the 20 -year -old would stay in Old Trafford this month, but Chelsea Boss Maresca says Stamford Bridge is unlikely to be his destination.

Maresca in Man City Games: “PEP needs support”

“It is normal, it can happen. What is not the case is the amount of years earned trophies.

“What is normal is what is happening now. Certainly, they will soon return to many trophies.

“My relationship with Pep and the club is very good. I have said many times that my contact is very good, I will always be grateful for the confidence they have shown me.

“Any club, anytime, every players. Most clubs they have at the moment are done, but it will be okay.”

Maresca says Talismanic Forward Cole Palmer “improves”, sitting in the recent victory of the Chelsea FA Cup over the Morecambe, though he then played against Crystal Palace and the wolves in the Premier League.

The Italian said, “It’s better. He made an incredible attempt to play against the wolves and is getting better and better.”

In the suitability of his other team, Maresca said: “Probably Levi (Colwill) and Enzo (Fernandez) could be ready (to face Man City), depends on today’s session.

“Romeo (Lavia) will go out for Saturday. We don’t know yet (the severity of injury). We have to wait a little more but at least a few weeks more (will be out).”
