ON FOX FIRST: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)has made more than 460 arrests of illegal immigrants in the first days of the Trump administration, including people with criminal histories that include sexual assault, domestic violence, and drug and gun crimes.
Information obtained by Fox News Digital shows that between midnight January 21 and 9 a.m. January 22, a 33-hour period, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrests more than 460 aliens, including criminal histories of assault, theft, burglary , aggravated assault, drug and weapons offences, resisting arrest and domestic violence.
Agents arrested nationals from a range of countries, including Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Senegal and Venezuela.

Arrests were made across the United States, including Illinois, Utah, California, Minnesota, New York, Florida and Maryland.

On January 22, 2025, ICE-ERO News York arrested Kamaro Denver Haye, a citizen of Jamaica. The New York City Police Department (NYPD) previously arrested Haye on 12/10/2024 for “promoting a sexual performance by a child under the age of 17 and possessing a sexual performance by a child under the age of 16: possession/access until Display”. Meanwhile, ICE has released more than 420 detainees – requests ICE be notified when a national is released from custody. The nationals were arrested for crimes such as murder, assault, kidnapping, assault and theft.

Arrests include:
– A Mexican national, Jesus Perez, arrested in Salt Lake City, charged with aggravated sexual abuse of a child.

On January 22, 2025, ICE-ERO Chicago arrested Adan Pablo-Ramirez, an inadmissible Mexican national with convictions for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement)
– A Honduran citizen, Franklin Osorto-Cruz, convicted of driving under the influence. He was arrested in New York.
– A Jamaican citizen, Kamaro Denver Haye, arrested for “promoting sexual performance by a child under 17 years of age and possessing sexual performance by a child under 16 years of age: possession/access to view.”
– A Mexican citizen, Jesus Baltazar Mendoza, convicted of second-degree abuse of a child. He was arrested in St. Paul.
– Colombian Andres Orjuela Parra, who was arrested in San Francisco. He was convicted of sexual penetration with a foreign object on an unconscious victim.

– Six illegal immigrants from Guatemala in Miami, with criminal histories including assault, child abuse, fraud, resisting arrest, DWI, trespassing and vandalism.
Meanwhile, Fox News’ Bill Melugin was on the ground in Boston, where agents arrested multiple MS-13 gang members, Interpol Red Notices, and murder and rape suspects.
The arrests come as the Trump administration moves quickly to make good on its pledge to launch a historic mass deportation operation, which it says will focus primarily – but not exclusively – on threats to the public safety.

This week, the administration took a slew of steps to make this happen, including a barrage of executive orders from President Trump and subsequent moves from his Cabinet agencies.
Fox News reported on Wednesday that the Department of Homeland Security lifted limits on expedited removal authority, a day after it rescinded a Biden-era memo limiting where ICE can conduct enforcement operations.

“Teams are available from today,” Homan said on “America’s Newsroom” on Tuesday. “We have given them direction to prioritize the public safety threats we are looking for. We have drawn up the target list.”

“Right out of the gate they are threats to public safety, those in the country illegally have been convicted and arrested for serious crimes,” he said. “But let me be clear. It’s not just public safety threats that are going to be arrested, because in sanctuary cities, we’re not allowed to have that public safety threat in jail, which means we have to go to the neighborhood to find him. .”
