The Vogue political correspondent took X during the president’s second inauguration Donald Trump on Monday, January 20, and asked the question“True or False: Usher Vance is way hotter than Jackie O.”
Schlossberg’s post sparked an immediate reaction, with one X user replying: “That’s your grandma!!!!”
“I’ll be honest man, I think most people don’t do hotness ratings involving their grandmothers,” someone else replied, while others wrote: “Are you that desperate for an engagement?” and “It’s not too late to delete this.”

Later on Monday, Schlossberg, 32, admitted to trolling the Internet by comparing the former first lady, a timeless style icon, to Usha, who stepped into her new role as second lady when her husband was sworn in as vice president.
“I’m literally a pervert,” he joked through X. “I called my grandma hot…am I completely lost? God…this kid will do anything for attention. Your grandfather would be ashamed. seriously. Time to get a job.”
Schlossberg is the only grandson of Kennedy Onassis and the president John F. Kennedyand youngest son of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg. he stepped into the limelight last year after his quirky TikTok and Instagram videos went viral. In July, he was hired by Vogue to cover the 2024 presidential election.
“I’m just having a good time. I’m a fun, goofy guy,” Jack said in a recent interview with Anna Wintour-edited fashion store. “I’m a silly goose – a silly goose trying, just trying to get the truth out.”

His playful, provocative posts sometimes get him into trouble. Earlier this month Schlossberg falsely claimed through X, which he represented Justin Baldoni in his legal battle against Blake Lively.
“I have agreed to take on JUSTIN BALDONI as a client. why HONESTY,” Schlossberg wrote at the time. “EVERYONE has the right to a FAIR TRIAL and a ZIELOUS DEFENSE. Justin has NOTHING to hide, justice will be his revenge. After the BOSTON MASSACRE, John Adams represented the British at trial. Same, different day.
Although Schlossberg was only joking, fans and the media caught on, with some outlets running stories claiming he was actually Baldoni’s lawyer.
Schlossberg passed the bar exam in 2023. and had graduated from Harvard Law School a year earlier. He jokingly doubled down on his cheating with Baldoni, posting on New Year’s Day: “My personal feelings for Justin Baldoni are irrelevant. Justin is my client, I am his lawyer. even the most despicable individuals are entitled to a lawyer for their defense. I’m not a hero. I’m just doing my job.”
